Missions
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news of the Gospel.” Romans 10:15
At Calvary Chapel East Anaheim we want to see Jesus raise up men and women from our own body to be disciples and to obey the Lord’s command to go into all the world to make disciples and proclaim the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ. The call of Christ on us is to know God make Him known! Since we have come to know Him we now are passionately consumed with making Him known! We believe the Church itself is God's ordained "sending agency" so we don't look to support outside missionaries as much as to aggressively raise up and send out a generation of brand new ones!
We support several missionaries full-time all over the world, and have “missionary care teams” who pray for, encourage, and get involved with our missionaries on a personal level. A large portion of our giving is donated to missions and the furtherance of the Gospel as set forth in God's Word in places both near and far.
We desire to provide opportunities for anyone in the body at CCEA to be involved in missions. There are short-term mission trips Mexico, Ireland, Costa Rica, Hungary, and Cuba, and more local opportunities in Atwood, Camp Alandale, and downtown Anaheim. Take a look at our 2010 mission trip to Costa Rica
