Crafstmen for ChristCraftsmen for Christ (CFC) is an outreach ministry which offers “hands-on” support for those in the body who cannot afford home maintenance and repair. By offering your services, you’ll not only bless others, but be blessed in return.

“I have placed wisdom within every skilled craftsman in order to make all that I have commanded you.” Exodus 31:6

Food MinistryDOVETAIL is a ministry that provides free food staples, which we in turn make available to families in need. Help is needed packing these boxes on the first Tuesday of every month. Due to the physicality of the packing, you must be able to stand for a long period of time and over 12 years of age.

We meet at the church in the morning to carpool to the food warehouse. While there, we’re served a delicious lunch and enjoy each other's company at the same time. Call the church office to find out more and the dates of our next service day.

Welcome MinistriesWe want your time here at CCEA to be as pleasant as possible, and helping us to do that are the door greeters, ushers and parking lot attendants.

GREETERS serve every other week, sharing smiles and handshakes with those who come in the doors. We want every person entering the building to feel the love of Christ and know that they are welcomed.

USHERS also serve every other week, assisting the body with any questions they might have, escorting new friends to the correct classroom, handing out bulletins, and assisting in communion and offering.

PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS assist drivers in maintaining a good traffic flow while keeping pedestrians safe.

If you’d like to be part of one of the above ministries, we’d love to have you join us!

MPact GirlsMPact Girls is a Christ-centered club for girls, with the goal to win girls to Jesus through love and acceptance, teach them to obey everything Jesus commands, provide encouragement, support and accountability through lasting Christian relationships, and acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord.

MPact Girls Clubs is a great opportunity for girls to discover a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a place where girls learn biblical truths for living and impacting their world through Bible stories, unit memory verses, class discussions, crafts, and games.

Lessons teach girls valuable life skills from sportsmanship and integrity to cooking and outreach. Girls learn how to choose actions, attitudes, and behaviors that please God. It is also a great opportunity for mothers and daughters to spend quality time together on outings and special events, such as a mother-daughter picnic, serving meals during a community outreach event, roller-skating, visiting nursing home residents, hiking at a nature center, and a trip to the zoo.

Currently, CCEA has classes for Kindergarten through 5th grade girls. Girls can join anytime during the school year.

Newcomer's DinnerEach month we have a “Newcomer’s Dinner” to welcome all the new folks (and those who have just never attended!). This fun, casual dinner is held at the home of Ken and Susan Chinn, 900 E. Cypress Street in Anaheim. Ken and Susan own a beautiful, restored victorian home that will welcome you with open arms.

Dinner begins at 6:30 pm and you’ll enjoy meeting the pastors and making new friends. You’ll hear more about CCEA, how it began, and what is going on now. Children of all ages are welcome. To find out the date of the next dinner, watch your bulletin or call the church office.

If you are not new to CCEA and would like to help out with the Newcomer's Dinner, we would love for you to do so!

Noah's Ark MinistryNoah’s Ark is a group of believers, first and foremost committed to Jesus Christ Himself, coming together to fulfill His greatest commandment. We seek to glorify God and love one another through the use of animals.

We believe that as we minister through the mutual connection of love for animals that God has placed in our hearts, we will glorify God in reaching those for Christ who also share that bond.

WHAT WE DO:
  • Use the animals as vessels for outreach in the community
  • Use therapy dogs to open doors to minister in hospitals, nursing homes, jails, etc.
  • Help the church body with needs for their animals
  • Organize fellowship events with our animals

Find out how you and your pet can touch the life of another and help point them to the love of Christ.

PROVERBS 31:20“Stitches of Love” "She extends her hand to the poor and stretches out her hands to the needy." Proverbs 31:20

Each month we gather for prayer, fellowship, and a time of using the talents God has given us to benefit others by loom-knitting hats and making blankets for:
  • Newborns at our local hospitals
  • Children and adults at homeless shelters
  • Soldiers serving in the Middle East
  • Our own new babies here at CCEA
  • Several outreaches in the community.

All ladies are welcome to join us on the first Friday of each month, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Northwest Meeting Room.

We would be blessed to have you join us!!! We will provide the yarn and (if necessary) teach you this easy way to knit on the loom.

Royal RangersRoyal Rangers is one of the largest Christian boys’ adventure, camping and mentoring programs for the next generation of men. We exist to "evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christ-like men and lifelong servant leaders."

Royal Rangers offers character and servant leadership education to boys and young men (K-12) in a highly relational, fun, and interactive environment. Our experienced mentors provide needed guidance, discipline, and structure, using:
  • FRIENDSHIP: Boys develop lifelong friends and meet wholesome men, who will affirm them and who they can look up to.
  • ACTIVITIES: Boys discover they have what it takes to be men as they spend time with mentors outdoors, in the gym, at the computer, on the service project site, or on the stage.
  • ADVANCEMENT SYSTEM: By awarding merit badges, boys are guided on a measurable, personal, and spiritual growth process.
  • INTERACTIVE LEARNING: Boys learn by hearing, seeing, doing, and when appropriate, teaching others. It's learning by doing.
  • SERVICE: Meaningful opportunities are provided for young men to move beyond themselves to help others, instilling attitudes and behaviors of lifelong servants.

Sports Ministry The Sports Ministry at CCEA’s mission is to glorify God, using the vehicle of sports and fitness in order to reach out to those around us with the message of Jesus Christ. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who may not be very connected with the body of Christ to gain fellowship with other Christians and see the love of Christ in action.

Sports and Seasons:
  • Basketball - Begins in March
  • Softball - year round
  • Golf - July/ August
  • Paintball - year round
  • Flag Football – Summer
We believe...
  • In equal game participation for all players.
  • That participation in sports should be a joyous experience.
  • That competition, winning and losing is healthy when experienced first with proper attitude and sportsmanship.
  • That the family is a God-directed institution and is encouraged to participate in its entirety.
  • That our greatest example is JESUS and that we should perform as He performed; desiring to do the will of His Father.

"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wealth, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified."
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
